The strongest signal about a demo is what it opens with. Ours opens with a live workspace rather than a slide about the category, because there is nothing to say about an integrated platform that is more convincing than watching a quote turn into an invoice without anybody typing the numbers twice. If you have sat through the version with the maturity curve on slide four, you know why we skip it.
You will not be asked for a budget, a timeline or an authority to sign, and nothing you say on the call routes you into a different process. That is not a courtesy — it is that the questions are useless to us. We cannot tell from a thirty-minute call whether you should buy this, and the companies who work out best are usually the ones who went away and tested an import before anybody discussed a number.
If the honest answer to your question is that a competitor fits better, you will hear it. That happens most often with manufacturing requirements, statutory payroll in countries we do not cover, and companies past a few hundred people with a genuine need for something heavier. Saying so on the call is cheaper for everyone than finding out in month three.
We do not run a two-stage process where a scheduler qualifies you and a specialist calls back. The person on the call configures the workspace live, answers the awkward questions without a follow-up, and writes the note that becomes the ticket if something you need does not exist yet.
None of these are required and nobody will ask you for them in advance. They exist because the demos people describe afterwards as useful almost always had at least one of them in the room, and the ones people describe as a product tour had none.
If you would rather come with nothing and just watch, that is a legitimate way to spend the time too. Say so at the start and we will drive instead of asking questions.
Nothing on the demo is gated behind it. If you would get further in an hour of clicking than an hour of watching somebody else click, do that instead and book a session later when you have real questions.
