Accounting software is only ever as useful as its fit with the local tax regime. GST returns built from invoices already recorded — with the treatment decided when the invoice was raised rather than reconstructed at filing — is a different product from one where tax is a reporting afterthought. The same is true of statutory payroll deductions.
Books carries GST reports, multi-branch and multi-currency operation, inventory with batch and serial tracking, and payroll postings drawn from Nest’s approved runs. Those are product areas with their own pages rather than claims made here.
Companies operating from several sites usually end up with per-branch systems and a consolidation exercise. Multi-entity operation on one record means consolidation is a view rather than a monthly merge, and a customer served by two branches is still one customer.
This page does not state which statutory filings are certified, which returns can be submitted directly, or what data residency applies — those are specific commitments that belong on the security page and in the terms, and neither is finalised. We would rather leave the gap visible than fill it with something you might rely on.
The pricing page currently publishes GBP, EUR and USD. Local currency pricing is a commercial decision that has not been made public yet.
Books produces GST reports from invoices already recorded. Whether returns can be filed directly from Treepie is not something this page claims — see the Books product pages for what is actually built.
Data residency is not published yet. It is listed as an open item on the security page rather than answered here.
